Nurse Practitioners (NP) | New York, Arizona, Florida

Valera is looking for psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) to deliver high quality evidence-based therapy and medication management. Clinicians will work collaborative with a health navigator who will assist in patient engagement and logistical support. We strive to streamline everyday tasks for clinicians so that they can focus on delivering clinical care. We are looking for self-starters who are interested in entrepreneurship and leadership roles in healthcare.

We provide therapy and medication management through a tele-video platform. We are looking for candidates who are committed to working with diverse populations and diagnoses, looking for a supportive, collaborative and educational environment, and interested in making a commitment to our agency and our mission to help clients explore, build and strengthen their lives.

Valera will provide an EMR, technology and quick payment after services are rendered. Collaborative agreements and clinical rounds with licensed psychiatrists will be provided for recent graduates.

Tasks include:

  • Providing therapy and medication management for a diverse set of patients
  • Working in a team-based approach with other clinicians and healthcare navigators
  • Regular supervision with psychiatrist

Prerequisites for application:

We are recruiting clinicians (LMSW, LCSW) for full- and part-time (minimum 10 hours/week) fee for service and full-time salaried positions. Our clinicians use Valera Health’s proprietary telehealth platform to deliver comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality behavioral health care. Our health coach team will assist with patient engagement and logistical support, streamlining everyday tasks so you can focus on delivering the best clinical care for patients.

Health Coach

Valera health coaches are an integral part of each patient’s care team and guarantee that patients have a seamless experience of care. The health coach serves as a communication channel between patients, providers, and Valera’s operational team. As a health coach, you will play a critical role in strengthening relationships with our providers, and ensuring patient engagement in care. You are the first point of contact for potential patients and will be integral to our growth.

As a health coach you will:

  • Interact with current and prospective patients, including in the initial patient consultation that involves a clinical assessment
  • Interact with providers and support with technical or logistical troubleshooting
  • Support providers in the management of their caseloads through tasks such as facilitating internal referrals, responding to patient needs between sessions, and additional ad hoc duties that ensure seamless patient care
  • Be involved in the growth of this team, attend weekly team huddles and monthly all-staff meetings

The HR manager will be responsible for HR leadership in order to enable growth, implement policies and procedures, and give strategic direction to our Leadership Team regarding key organizational systems.

As HR Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the hiring process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Develop infrastructure for credentialing and certifications as part of onboarding
  • Research and advise on future HR software

  • Oversee review processes

We are seeking a Senior Controller with finance responsibilities to implement and maintain our financial operations as we continue to grow. Our ideal candidate has experience forming financial strategies, achieving organizational targets, and is committed to delivering results. This position will work closely with other senior leaders to evaluate various strategic decisions and their downstream impact on financial controls.

As Senior Controller you will:

  • Oversee our day-to-day finance operations

Manage account reconciliation
  • Maintain the monthly general ledger work, P&L reports, and trial balances
  • Reconcile the claim reimbursements and claim submissions of our medical practice
